Job summary

Comfort Heating & Air Conditioning in Lexington, KY, is seeking an HVAC Installation Mechanic for residential installations. You will disassemble old equipment and install, start-up and troubleshoot new HVAC systems in customers' homes.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of residential HVAC installation experience.
• Comfortable leading a crew with a helper.
• Working knowledge of local inspection codes.
• Journeyman HVAC license; certification assistance may be available.
• Strong work ethic with excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to access attics, crawl spaces and lift heavy objects.
• Prepared for long hours and possible weekend work.
• Pre-employment drug screen, background checks, and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and remove old systems, then install, start up and troubleshoot new residential HVAC units.
• Perform commissioning and ensure proper operation of new systems.
• Adhere to safety policies and local codes while delivering high service quality.
