Job summary
Randazzo Heating & Cooling is seeking an experienced HVAC Installer Lead to supervise a two-person installation crew and ensure high-quality work, safety, and customer satisfaction. You will lead installations of furnaces, AC systems, heat pumps, and related components while mentoring junior technicians.
The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and timely completion, with opportunities to advance within a growing team that serves the Michigan area.
Qualifications
- HVAC installation and service experience required.
- HVAC certification or associated degree preferred.
- EPA Certification required for refrigerant handling.
- Lead install experience preferred; able to mentor juniors.
Responsibilities
- Install furnaces, air conditioning systems, heat pumps, and related equipment.
- Install ductwork, sheet metal transitions, refrigeration lines, condensate systems, and venting.
- Replace and diagnose electrical and mechanical components.
- Maintain responsibility for company vehicle, tools, and inventory.
- Procure materials to meet scheduled completion timelines.
- Train and mentor junior technicians.
- Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and company policies.
- Maintain professional appearance and strong customer relations.
- Follow all safety procedures and safe work practices.
