Job summary

ARS-Rescue Rooter is hiring experienced Residential HVAC Lead Installers in Laurel, MD for full-time, year-round work installing heating and cooling systems. You will lead installations, coordinate with a helper, and ensure quality and safety during start-up, testing, and commissioning.

Requirements include a Journeyman’s license (HVAC or Plumbing), 3+ years of residential HVAC experience, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license; background and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• Journeyman’s license in HVAC or Plumbing.
• Minimum 3 years of residential HVAC installation experience.
• Experience installing heating and air conditioning systems.
• Comfortable leading HVAC installs with a helper.
• Working knowledge of local HVAC inspection codes.
• EPA Certification.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Remove and replace outdated HVAC systems including boilers and furnaces.
• Install complete residential heating and air conditioning systems per specs.
• Lead residential HVAC installations with a helper.
• Start up, test, and troubleshoot newly installed HVAC equipment.
• Ensure all installation work meets safety, quality, and inspection standards.
• Deliver professional service and maintain a clean job site.
