Professor Gatsby's Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical is seeking a Lead HVAC Technician to head field installations for high-efficiency residential and light commercial systems. You will manage an install crew and oversee projects from start to finish.

The role emphasizes hands-on installation, mentoring junior technicians, and coordinating with homeowners and office staff to ensure safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional HVAC installation experience.
• Ability to perform full split system replacements within a one-day timeframe.
• Physically capable to lift at least 50 lbs and perform HVAC field tasks.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation crew to ensure high-quality project delivery.
• Execute one-day furnace and A/C split system installations (80% and 90%+ efficiency).
• Manage venting and line set replacements for optimal performance and safety.
• Coordinate project communication between homeowners and the office.
• Mentor junior team members through on-site training.
• Troubleshoot real-time mechanical issues to prevent delays and ensure quality.
