Job summary

Southern Air Baton Rouge is seeking a self-motivated HVAC Installer to join our growing installation team. In this full-time role, you will install HVAC equipment, pre-measure job sites, connect equipment, and document work to company standards.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years HVAC installation experience required.
• HVAC degree or equivalent field experience with certification from a technical/trade school.
• EPA Type II certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC equipment according to safety requirements, company standards, and manufacturer specifications.
• Stay up to date on current technologies and new products in the field.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction by addressing questions, concerns, or issues the client may have.
• Pre-measure job sites in order to properly prepare for installation.
• Properly connect equipment.
• Properly and efficiently document all calls/jobs to the company's requirements.
• Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Valid driver’s license

Heavy equipment handling

Education

HVAC degree or equivalent field experience with certification from a technical/trade school

EPA Type II certification (preferred)
