T.F. O’Brien Cooling & Heating in New Hyde Park, NY is seeking a Boiler Installation Lead Technician to oversee hydronic and forced-air system installs, ensure projects meet labor budgets, and train junior techs. This full-time onsite role offers a salary of $75,000–$95,000 plus overtime and incentives.

We provide a sign-on bonus up to $5,000, health/dental/vision insurance, retirement plan contributions, uniforms, paid time off, training, and year-round work with company trucks.

Qualifikationen

• Licensed with knowledge of local HVAC codes and the ability to make on-the-job applications.
• Develop a proven track record in heating systems, including reading blueprints.
• Ability to diagnose complex heating systems including high-efficiency equipment and radiant heating.
• Clean, safe driving record.
• Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.
• High integrity with advanced social skills and ability to connect with others.
• Competitive individual contributor who also works well in a team.

Aufgaben

• Complete all general heating in-home installs.
• Lead install team toward production efficiency and quality standards.
• Install replacements of furnaces, boilers, water heaters, piping, and electrical.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues per manufacturer specifications.
• Explain operation and maintenance to the customer.
• Present as professional to win referrals and repeat business.
• Work with installers to achieve overall business success.
• Maintain a clean, organized job site and stocked truck.
• Participate in training, meetings, and events.
• Be accurate with invoices, time cards, and feedback sheets.
• Keep the installation manager informed of progress and issues.
• Operate company vehicles safely and recognize hazards.
