Call The Bee in New London County, CT is expanding and seeks an experienced Lead HVAC Installer to oversee residential system installations from start to finish. You will lead a team, ensure safety, quality, and adherence to code while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HVAC installation experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Connecticut D2 license or higher preferred.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Advanced knowledge of HVAC installations including central air, furnaces, heat pumps, and ductless systems.
• Experience using Service Titan or similar software for job tracking.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of HVAC installers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality workmanship and efficiency.
• Oversee and perform the installation of HVAC systems in residential properties, including central air conditioning, furnaces, heat pumps, and ductless mini-splits.
• Conduct system startup procedures and verify functionality per manufacturer specifications.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners, ensuring clear communication and high customer satisfaction.
• Identify and resolve installation issues ensuring safety and standards are met.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications for proper installations.
• Ensure installations comply with National Electrical Code and state/local HVAC regulations.
• Conduct final inspections to meet quality standards and company expectations.
• Document job details and customer interactions using Service Titan or similar software.
• Coordinate inventory and materials with warehouse and procurement teams.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
