Job summary

Restivo's Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a Lead HVAC Installer to drive residential system installations from start to finish. You will lead install crews, read specs, size systems, and deliver clean, code-compliant work.

You will train junior installers, ensure safety, communicate with homeowners, and coordinate with leadership to keep jobs on track. EPA certification is required; NATE is a plus. Equal opportunity employer with a strong focus on doing it right the first time.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of residential HVAC installation experience.
• Ability to lead install crews and manage jobs independently.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, duct design, and install best practices.
• EPA certification required (NATE a plus).

Responsibilities

• Lead residential HVAC system installations from start to finish.
• Install air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, ductwork, and ventilation systems.
• Read plans, size systems, and ensure installs meet design specs.
• Train and mentor junior installers on best practices and safety.
• Ensure all work meets code, quality standards, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Communicate clearly with homeowners throughout the install process.
• Perform system start-ups, testing, and final walkthroughs.
• Identify opportunities for system upgrades or improvements.
• Keep job sites clean, organized, and professional.
• Coordinate with dispatch, sales, and leadership to keep jobs running smoothly.
