Job summary

Cincy Heating & Cooling is seeking a Lead HVAC Installer to own installation projects from start to finish in the Greater Cincinnati area. You will install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and related equipment, and troubleshoot field issues.

Ideal candidates have hands-on installation experience, EPA 608, and a valid driver's license. This is a full-time role offering growth with an owner-focused team that values craftsmanship and accountability.

Qualifications

• Hands-on HVAC installation experience.
• Lead HVAC Installer or running installations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of residential/light commercial HVAC installation.
• EPA 608 Certification.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to read specs and follow codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC installation projects from start to finish.
• Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and related HVAC equipment.
• Remove and replace existing heating and cooling systems.
• Complete equipment start-ups, testing, and final checks.
• Troubleshoot installation issues in the field.
• Ensure HVAC systems are installed according to manufacturer specifications and applicable codes.
• Read and follow installation instructions, specifications, and job requirements.
• Coordinate installation activities to keep projects moving efficiently.
• Provide direction and support to HVAC helpers or junior installers when assigned.
• Maintain high standards for HVAC workmanship and installation quality.

• Take responsibility for completing assigned installations correctly and efficiently

• Help prevent callbacks by focusing on quality and getting installations right the first time

• Hands-on HVAC installation experience

• Previous experience as a Lead HVAC Installer or independently running HVAC installations preferred

• Strong knowledge of residential and/or light commercial HVAC installation

• Experience installing furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related HVAC equipment

• Working knowledge of ductwork and HVAC system installation

• Ability to independently complete HVAC installations from start to finish

• Strong HVAC troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to identify and resolve installation issues in the field

• EPA Section 608 Certification

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

• Ability to safely operate HVAC installation tools and equipment

• Ability to perform the physical requirements associated with HVAC installation work

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to lead projects, take initiative, and work independently

• Dependable and accountable approach to completing quality work
