Job Description

Immediate opening for an experienced HVAC Lead Mechanic for Replacement and Retrofit Installations.

FUNCTION

Operate, maintain, install, and perform repairs on mechanical equipment and controls, heat exchangers, refrigeration, and various other mechanical systems to ensure optimal customer relations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Respond in a professional, polite, and helpful manner when dealing with customers.
2. Assume responsibility for the safe maintenance, operation, and adjustments of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
3. Work effectively and lead crew members.
4. Thoroughly and accurately complete paperwork and prepare reports.
5. Assist in emergencies as needed.
6. Return all work areas to a clean, neat, orderly, and safe condition.
7. Learn, understand, and comply with fire, safety, and other emergency practices. Inform supervisor of any unsafe conditions.
8. Learn, understand, and comply with all company and customer policies.
9. Participate in training to increase job-related skills.
10. Assist in training other employees as assigned by management.
11. Work overtime as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Apprentice or Journeyman certification is a plus.
• CFC Certification.
• Outstanding driving record.
• Strong experience with residential and commercial HVAC equipment and systems.
• Knowledge of equipment, tools, and materials used.
• HVAC experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Capability to act as a lead technician.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, with some overtime as needed.
