Aire Serv of Lakewood-Avon is hiring a Lead HVAC Installer who delivers quality craftsmanship and autonomous work. You will lead residential and light commercial installations and help shape the installation department from day one.

This role offers a take-home vehicle you can customize, a strong benefits package, and a fast-track path to management within 12–18 months. Experience in HVAC installation and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years preferred for top-tier pay; 3–5 years welcomed with competitive pay discussion.
• Proven ability to independently manage residential equipment installations from start to finish.
• Experience with dispatch/CRM platforms like ServiceTitan is a plus; training available.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute residential (and light commercial) HVAC replacements and new installations (usually 2 days).
• Deliver white-glove customer service, protect property, and maintain clean job sites.
• Perform complete install handoffs with owner manuals, invoices, and maintenance paperwork.
• Work independently from day one to troubleshoot and make field decisions when leadership is off-site.
• Mentor apprentices and helpers to build a high-performing team.
• Attend weekly team meetings and maintain accurate job documentation.

About the Role

We’re hiring a Lead HVAC Installer who delivers quality craftsmanship, provides exceptional service, and thrives on autonomy. As our primary lead installer on day one, you will play a critical role in setting the standard for our installation department.

You won't just be executing jobs - you'll be actively helping build our operational foundation. You will get direct input on custom-outfitting your take-home install van so you can work as efficiently as possible. Plus, if you already have a trusted apprentice or helper, bring them along!

Most importantly, we are hiring with the future in mind: for the right candidate, this role is explicitly designed to fast-track into a Manager position within 12 to 18 months.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead and execute residential (and light commercial) HVAC replacements and new installations efficiently (typically planned as 2-day installations).


• Deliver white-glove customer service: protect the customer’s property, answer their questions thoroughly, and leave every job site cleaner than you found it.


• Perform complete install handoffs, providing homeowners with owner’s manuals, printed invoice copies, and preventative maintenance paperwork.


• Work independently from day one to troubleshoot and make critical field decisions when leadership is off-site.


• Mentor and guide installation apprentices and helpers to build a high-performing team.


• Participate actively in weekly Tuesday morning team meetings.


• Maintain accurate job documentation and asset tracking.

Required & Preferred Experience

• Experience: 5+ years preferred for the top-tier compensation listed in this ad. (However, those with 3to 5 years of hands-on HVAC residential/light commercial installation experience are welcomed to apply. We can discuss competitive pay for this level of installer.)


• Day 1 Readiness: Proven ability to independently manage and complete standard residential equipment installations from start to finish.


• Software & Tech: Experience with dispatch/CRM platforms like ServiceTitan is a major plus (we are happy to train!).


• Driver's License: Must hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record for take-home vehicle privileges.


• Military Veterans: Veteran status or military transition background is strongly encouraged and welcomed!
