Job summary

Wright Heating and Cooling is seeking a Lead HVAC Installer in Akron, OH to manage residential installations from start to finish. You will mentor helpers, uphold safety, quality, and customer service throughout projects.

The role offers $25-$35 per hour with union benefits and medical insurance fully paid for employee and family, plus dental/vision, paid vacation, ongoing training, and advancement opportunities. Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:30 AM–4:30 PM; overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HVAC installation experience.
• Previous lead installer or crew lead experience preferred.
• Ability to train and mentor less experienced team members.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean, insurable driving record.
• Strong understanding of jobsite safety practices.
• Basic HVAC hand tools required.

Responsibilities

• Lead residential HVAC installation projects from start to finish.
• Guide and train installation helpers in proper techniques.
• Maintain high standards for safety, quality, and customer service.
• Diagnose and address installation-related concerns.

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday
• 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
• Overtime available as needed

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and work on your feet throughout the day
• Ability to lift 70+ lbs when needed
• Comfortable working in hot, cold, and varying jobsite conditions
• Ability to safely climb step and extension ladders
