Job summary

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking an HVAC Installation Technician to install and commission residential and light commercial systems. You will assess ductwork, adapt new equipment, and ensure clean, safe job sites.

The role requires strong communication and technical skills to work with customers and team members. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, HVAC installation experience, and a valid driver’s license; NATE is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior successful experience as an Installation Technician in HVAC.
• NATE certification preferred.
• Strong communication skills and technical competence.
• Valid driving license.

Responsibilities

• Installs residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
• Adapts new systems to existing ductwork.
• Maintains a neat work area and ensures cleanliness after completion.
• Demonstrates safety awareness on the job and while driving.
• Wears floor savers in clients' homes.
• Keeps company vehicle clean and maintained.

Job Summary

This person has to be able to run a job, and complete the installation of HVAC systems in a residential and light commercial setting.

Job Duties

• Installs residential and light commercial HVAC systems
• Have the ability to install, and adapt the new system to existing ductwork
• Always maintains a neat work area and inspects that area for cleanliness after completion of each job
• Conveys a safety-conscious attitude, both on the job and while driving
• Wears floor savers while in the client’s home
• Maintains company vehicle, ensuring that it is always clean

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have prior, successful experience as an Installation Technician in the HVAC industry
• NATE certification preferred
• Must display strong communication skills and technical competence
• Valid driving license

Compensation

$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
