Job summary

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking an HVAC Installation Technician to assist the lead installer with the installation of heating and air conditioning replacement systems.

The role requires prior installation experience in HVAC, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a clean driving record. NATE certification is preferred, you must provide your own tools, and a background check with drug screening will be conducted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior, successful experience as an Installation Technician in HVAC.
• NATE certification preferred.
• Strong communication skills and technical competence.
• Able to pass background check and drug screen.
• Clean driving record.
• Must provide own tools.
• Sheet metal experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Completes installation paperwork neatly and timely.
• Uses drop cloths to protect client's floors.
• Maintains neat work area and cleans up after each job.
• Conveys a safety-conscious attitude on the job and while driving.
• Wears floor savers in the client's home.
• Assists Lead Installer and maintains company vehicle cleanliness.

Job Summary

This position will assist the lead Installation technician with the installation of heating and air conditioning replacement systems.

Job Duties

• Completes installation paperwork in a neat, timely, and accurate manner that reflects all tasks performed for reporting accuracy and future comparison
• Uses drop cloths to protect client’s floors while performing installation
• Always maintains a neat work area and inspects that area for cleanliness after completion of each job
• Conveys a safety-conscious attitude, both on the job and while driving
• Wears floor savers while in the client’s home
• Assists the Lead Installer with maintaining required production levelsMaintains company vehicle, ensuring that it is always clean on both the inside and the outside

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have prior, successful experience as an Installation Technician in the HVAC industry
• NATE certification preferred
• Must display strong communication skills and technical competence
• Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug screen
• Clean driving record
• Must provide own tools.
• Sheet metal experience is a plus.
