Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company in the United States is seeking a Lead Construction Supervisor to manage daily production activities in line with project timelines, plans and safety standards.

You will coordinate crews, inspect work progress, maintain reports and lead toolbox meetings to promote safety and efficiency on site. This role requires strong communication, scheduling ability and a proactive approach to safety, quality and cost control while guiding a diverse team on industrial sites.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate leadership and supervision skills.
• Able to plan and safely carry out tasks with training in safety practices.
• Effective communicator with crew and management.
• Knowledge of scheduling, material control, and job cost management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Superintendent and PM to organize crew, materials, and equipment for productivity and cost in line with budget.
• Examine and inspect work progress, equipment and sites to verify safety and ensure specifications are met.
• Maintain reporting records including quantities, productivity, time sheets and daily management reports.
• May assist in developing a weekly schedule and carry out activities for assigned crew.
• Ensure timely completion within estimated costs while maintaining quality workmanship.
• Ensure safety of crew following company and government safety rules.
• Lead toolbox meetings and communicate safety concerns, scope, plans and schedules.
• Monitor compliance with company policies.
• Continuously check crew work and adjust plan as required.
• Prioritize workload within defined budget.
