Marathon Petroleum Corporation seeks a Lead Human Resources Business Partner to support MPC's Refinery organization. You will serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, delivering strategic HR partnership across talent, organization, workforce, and business priorities.

This role requires a business-minded HR professional who builds strong relationships, exercises sound judgment, and translates needs into practical people strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor & Industrial Relations, or related field.
• 6+ years HR experience; HRBP or HR Generalist background.
• Experience in petroleum, utilities, manufacturing, or related sector preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement HR strategies aligned with business needs and drive change across client groups.
• Promote inclusion and opportunity to support a high-performing culture.
• Partner with client groups on interpretation of HR policies and programs and provide practical guidance.
• Guide leaders and employees in applying HR policies with good judgment and business context.
• Deliver performance and leadership consulting, including training and organizational development.
• Conduct investigations and participate in labor contract interpretations or negotiations when needed.
• Lead special HR initiatives and enterprise-wide people processes as assigned.
