Responsibilities

• Adhere to attendance policies and maintain reliable, punctual performance.
• Maintain inventory of linens, cleaning chemicals and supplies; order as needed.
• Fill in for any housekeeper on vacation or absence when required.
• Ensure housekeeping equipment is properly maintained and labeled.
• Assign housekeeping duties and monitor completion of tasks.
• Inspect common areas daily for cleanliness and readiness of rooms.
• Supervise laundry and linen services; support safe handling of materials.
• Monitor chemical usage and compliance with OSHA; maintain MSDS records.
• Establish standards, post schedules, and supervise staff performance.
• Investigate complaints and take corrective action as needed.
• Maintain records of departmental activities and seek efficiency improvements.
