Creative Solutions In HealthCare is seeking a dependable Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor to lead the Environmental Services Team. The role ensures a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff, with leadership impacting daily comfort.

You will hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff, manage schedules and inventory, and uphold infection control standards in a healthcare setting. A strong emphasis on compassion for elderly and disabled individuals is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or laundry services in a healthcare setting.
• Strong supervisory or leadership experience.
• Clear verbal and written communication.
• Organized, detail-oriented and able to multitask.
• Knowledge of infection control and sanitation protocols in long-term care.
• Empathy and genuine care for elderly and disabled individuals.

Responsibilities

• Lead housekeeping and laundry staff: hire, train, supervise, evaluate.
• Create department schedules aligned with census and budgets.
• Order and manage supply levels while controlling costs.
• Oversee cleaning tasks: mopping, dusting, vacuuming, disinfecting.
• Conduct routine sanitation and infection control inspections.
• Provide instruction on safe cleaning and laundry procedures.
• Ensure linen delivery and orderly supply rooms as part of daily operations
