Job summary

State of Oklahoma is seeking a Lead Housekeeping/Custodial Worker at Quartz Mountain State Park Lodge. The role supports the supervisor in managing the housekeeping department and ensuring high standards of cleanliness across lodge rooms, cabins, and park facilities.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating cleaning tasks, maintaining inventories, training team members, and reporting on housekeeping operations. The position is full-time and on site.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of housekeeping/custodial experience or related field required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks involving bending, stooping and walking.

Responsibilities

• Lead responsibilities in supervising the housekeeping team and assisting the supervisor.
• Clean and sanitize lodge rooms, guest cabins, and park facilities.
• Sweep, mop, dust, wash, vacuum, wax, and polish floors and surfaces.
• Manage supplies, inventory, and housekeeping equipment; support budget needs.
• Observe safety standards and participate in emergencies as needed.
• Train and guide team members to maintain standards and procedures.
