Job summary

The State of Oklahoma is seeking a Seasonal Housekeeping/Custodial Worker at Sequoyah State Park Lodge to keep guest areas clean, safe and welcoming. This fixed-term, part-time role focuses on routine housekeeping, sanitizing spaces, stocking supplies, and supporting daily operations for visitors and staff.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, cleaning washrooms and bedrooms, moving furniture as needed, and reporting safety hazards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Some locations will require a valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps, dusts, mops, scrubs, washes, vacuums, waxes, and polishes building floors, walls, woodwork, windows, furniture, and hardware.
• Cleans and sanitizes washrooms and bedrooms, keeps washrooms supplied with paper, towels and soap.
• Collects and disposes of trash and garbage.
• Moves equipment and furniture such as beds, tables, and chairs in order to clean effectively.
• Stocks housekeeping supplies.
• Observes and reports safety violations; actively participates in emergency situations.
• Performs other duties as assigned to support daily operations and agency needs.
