Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Lead Housekeeper to oversee day-to-day housekeeping operations, schedules, and staff training at our McDonough community. The role focuses on cleaning common areas and resident apartments with attention to detail and equipment operation.

The ideal candidate will have leadership experience in housekeeping, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Formación

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have housekeeping experience as well as experience in a leadership role.
• Ability to encourage/coach/direct housekeeping staff.
• Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational skills to ensure completion of tasks.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to complete assignments thoroughly and on time.
• Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, bend, grasp, push and pull for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs and carry heavy objects for up to 20 feet.
• Must wear designated uniform during work hours and maintain good personal hygiene.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day housekeeping operations and schedules.
• Supervise housekeeping staff and provide training.
• Find coverage for staff call-outs and ensure adequate staffing.
• Oversee cleaning of the facility, emphasizing common areas and bathrooms.
• Maintain maintenance request reports and report building/dresser issues.
• Operate laundry equipment as needed.
• Report inadequate quantities of supplies to Maintenance Director.
• Store cleaning supplies properly and use approved products.
• Clean offices, dust blinds and furniture, vacuum all areas.
• Clean apartments at move-out and maintain resident privacy.
• Attend required in-services and staff meetings.
