Summary
Supports the organization's mission, vision, and values by exhibiting behaviors such as excellence in maintaining a clean, safe, orderly, and attractive environment throughout all hospital departments, patient areas, and support areas, including hospital-controlled zones. Performs discharge cleaning as needed. Communicates effectively with nursing staff, unit coordinators, practice administrators, patients, the public, etc., as part of the healthcare team.

Requires ability to stand long periods, bend, stoop, and lift.
Performs 8-step cleaning, discharge cleaning, bed making, wall spotting, toilet cleaning, dusting, and terminal cleaning of ORs.
Works professionally and safely, using caution signs and cones. Reports incomplete work and maintenance issues.
Cleans organic waste as instructed, manages waste disposal, and inspects equipment for cleanliness and repair.
Ensures equipment is clean and in good condition, maintains high standards, and participates in training and quality assurance activities.
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
Experience: 3-5 years in customer service and floor/carpet care; prior lead experience preferred.
Skills & Abilities: Ability to communicate in English, understand medical terminology, follow procedures, demonstrate sensitivity, cooperate with healthcare team, and perform manual tasks including cleaning and equipment handling.
Includes standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, fingering, feeling, and visual and auditory tasks, with specified frequencies.
