You will support the Housekeeping Manager with quality checks, inventory, ordering, policy reviews, and training employees. A high school diploma or GED and English literacy are required; Iowa Mandatory Reporter

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 1–3 months related experience.
• Iowa Mandatory Reporter training is a plus; employee certification required.
• Must read and write English and follow oral directions; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and sanitary environment across patient rooms, clinical areas, offices, lounges, and public spaces.
• Cover interior and exterior areas; may include patient rooms, corridors, kitchens, and lobby areas.
• Support the Housekeeping Manager with quality checks, inventory, ordering, policy review, and training employees.
• Collaborate with team to uphold high cleanliness standards and comply with hospital policies.

• Lead Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment.
• Assigned work areas may include interior and exterior work areas, and are not limited to: patient rooms, clinical areas, offices, nurse’s stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and lobby areas.
• Supports the Housekeeping Manager with quality checks, inventory, ordering, policy review, and training employees.
• Must be able to read and write English, the ability to follow oral directions and work independently.
• Previous housekeeping experience in a hospital is preferred.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED or 1-3 months of related experiences and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Iowa Mandatory Reporter training certificate a plus; certification is required as an employee.
