Floyd Valley Healthcare in Le Mars, IA, seeks a full-time RN Clinical Informaticist for our Clinical Excellence Department. This on-site role focuses on implementing clinical applications and ensuring staff readiness while supporting EMR reporting and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• RN Licensure in good standing.
• 2–3 years of professional clinical experience.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• EPIC experience is desired.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary clinical resource for acquisition, project management, and technical support of new clinical applications and equipment.
• Supports quality initiative, patient experience measures, and reporting through EMR data.
• Liaises with medical staff to ensure staff readiness and assist with downtime procedures during system outages.
• Liaises with clinical application users for report development, work requests, problem reporting, analysis, and resolution.

Floyd Valley Healthcare in Le Mars, IA has a full-time position (40 hours per week) in our Clinical Excellence Department for an RN Clinical Informaticist. This position is an on-site position.

RN Clinical Informaticist Responsibilities, But Are Not Limited To

• Serves as the primary clinical resource for the acquisition, project management, and technical support of new clinical applications and equipment.

• Serves as liaison with medical staff to ensure staff readiness and assist with downtime procedures during system outages.

Requirements

• Two to three years professional clinical experience


• Must be a graduate of accredited school of Nursing


• Previous Clinical Informatics and EPIC experience is desired


• Mandatory Reporter training certificate a plus; certification is required as an employee
