Job Title: Full Time Lead Housekeeper

LECOM Institute for Successful Living is currently seeking a Full Time Lead Housekeeper, who is responsible for monitoring and supervising the cleaning of the LECOM Senior Living Center, located at 5535 Peach St, Erie PA, and related properties, as needed. This candidate will assist in maintaining a positive environment for employees and the overall visiting public.

This position reports to the Maintenance and Housekeeping Supervisor. The Lead Housekeeper oversees and directs staff to ensure projects and maintenance are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Exhibiting leadership skills to motivate and respond to difficult situations with skill and confidence is essential. The Lead Housekeeper will assist the Maintenance and Housekeeping Supervisor with performance issues and evaluations, continually assessing and improving the physical environment to maximize service and efficiency. Personal responsibility to provide excellent service every day is a must.

This is a “hands on” supervisory role, in which the Lead Housekeeper will actively work with the other members of the department.
