Vail Resorts Keystone Resort seeks a Lead Housekeeper to oversee contracted and internal staff, ensuring top-tier cleanliness and safety across mountain facilities and base areas.

The role requires coordinating schedules, supervising crews, and delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining daily records and adhering to budgets. Winter seasonal position with robust compensation and housing options; heavy lifting and outdoor work involved.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience managing contracts.
• At least two years of custodial or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Clean driving record required.
• Ability to deal with guests and personnel courteously and efficiently.
• Ski or snowboard ability preferred.
• Spanish fluency preferred.
• Ability to be exposed to inclement weather conditions.
• Ability to work standing for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, squat, etc.

• Assist in cleaning as needed.
• Move supplies across the resort and ensure our teams have the necessary items to complete their work.
• Make scheduled checks of facilities to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Respond to emergency situations quickly and efficiently.
• Maintain daily records and logs of janitorial activities and file required reports.
• Facilitate budget preparation.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Job Summary

The Team Lead Housekeeper is responsible for the management of contractors and internal employees to maintain the cleanliness of many different areas on the mountain and at the bases of the resort. The essential job function is to manage and assist in the cleaning and inspection of facilities to ensure cleanliness and safety for property, guests, and personnel. This position manages multiple third‑party contracted staff.

Job Specifications

• Starting Wage: $22.00/hr – $29.22/hr
• Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027
• Shift Type: Full Time and Part Time hours available
• Minimum Age: 18 years or older
