Job summary

GE Aerospace Lynn Advanced Programs seeks a hot structures design manager to lead a small engineering team in the mechanical design, analysis, and testing of hot structures for a next-generation turbomachinery product. You will serve as IPT leader, coordinating with adjacent disciplines and driving design life cycle activities across multiple sites.

Candidates must have a BS in mechanical or aerospace engineering, 7+ years in design, and US citizenship with the ability to obtain an active

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical or aerospace engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 7 years of engineering experience in relevant design engineering.
• US citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain US Government security clearance.
• Preference for candidates with current government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the hot structures design, analysis, and test using sound engineering principles and adherent to requirements.
• Ensure proper documentation of technical data for hot structures design.
• Provide technical guidance and influence outcomes across cross-functional teams.
• Serve as IPT lead for hot structures and present module design reviews.
