Job summary

Wellstar seeks a lead skilled Maintenance Technician to oversee painting and related tasks in hospital settings. You will work independently and in teams on assigned projects while minimizing impact on patient care, and you will assist in training Maintenance Technicians.

The role covers painting, carpentry, documentation, and housekeeping duties in clinical areas, requiring at least 3 years of painting experience and a valid Georgia driver's license or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required and minimum 3 years in painting.
• GADL - Georgia Driver's License or VSDL - Valid State Driver's License may be required.

Responsibilities

• Performs painting maintenance tasks, including inspections, patching, priming, and applying paint; maintains equipment.
• Maintains and completes required paperwork using a daily log and PDA entries; completes work orders.
• Performs carpentry tasks such as installing baseboards, corner guards, hanging items, installing ceiling tiles, and cleaning vents.
• Performs housekeeping duties to keep work areas clean and safe for patient care.
