Job summary

Xanitos, Inc. is hiring a Full time Lead Environmental Service Hospital Housekeeper for 1st shift at AHMC San Gabriel Valley Medical Center, California. The role involves supervising EVS frontline staff, ensuring cleaning standards, and maintaining patient areas.

Compensation includes hourly pay of $23.00 plus a $1.50 lead pay, with every other weekend/holiday included. The position requires experience in medical cleaning, a GED or high school diploma, and post-offer medical and background

Qualifications

Experience in Medical cleaning required.
Experience in the janitorial industry a plus.
Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required.
High school diploma or GED; or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

Assist EVS frontline staff.
Help set up for shift change.
Provide assistance to frontline staff with any housekeeping process or procedure.
Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
Sweeps and/or vacuums floor.
Dusts furniture and equipment.
Polishes metalwork.
Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
Empties wastebasket and Transports trash and waste to the disposal area.
Replenishes bathroom supplies.
Transports small equipment or tools between departments.
