Xanitos, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Services Manager for KP San Leandro MC in San Leandro, CA. This 1st shift role oversees the Environmental Services staff, coordinating with hospital departments to deliver top-tier service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required or equivalent.
• Flexibility to work some differing shifts.
• Strong service/quality attitude.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Proficient in Windows-based office software.

Responsibilities

• Participate in staff selection process. Interview candidates as needed and schedule days off, holidays and vacations.
• Assign personnel to established work areas or project duties.
• Conducts quality assurance checks and manages materials inventory and general use of equipment.
• Ensure staff receives orientation, initial training, and ongoing education.
• Provide guidance and motivation to staff to maximize performance.
• Discipline associates when necessary according to progressive disciplinary guidelines.
• Prepare disciplinary reports and follow up with findings to the Department Director.
• Maintain an environment that is sanitary, attractive and orderly.
• Demonstrate Xanitos’ culture, values, and management philosophy.
• Demonstrate leadership in meeting performance plans.
