Job summary

Qualifications

• 4–10 years of construction supervisory or project oversight experience.
• College degree in Construction Management preferred.
• Advanced training in trades within the residential building industry preferred.
• Knowledge of homebuilding systems, building codes and ROC.
• Must be able to read blueprints for quality control and site inspections.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage homebuilding construction through all phases to ensure quality delivery.
• Schedule subcontractors and delivery dates for materials.
• Ensure building codes and Meritage Home standards are met.
• Conduct walk-through inspections with homeowners.
• Communicate safety standards and enforce regulations on job sites.
• Maintain a clean and organized jobsite and subdivision.
• Interact daily with departments, subcontractors, customers and inspectors.
• Attend construction, monthly and quarterly meetings.
