Job summary

TruBlue Home Service Ally in Durham, NC is seeking a Lead Home Service Technician to guide skilled Tru-Pro teams on high-quality repairs and safety-focused upgrades. You will mentor technicians, manage on-site expectations with customers, and ensure workmanship across bathroom/kitchen upgrades, drywall, flooring, carpentry, painting, and basic plumbing/electrical.

Qualifications

10+ years of hands-on home repair or construction experience.
Experience managing or mentoring other technicians is preferred.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Committed to doing the job right and doing right by your team and clients.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and full toolset.
Fluent in English and legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and support a team of Tru-Pro technicians on high-quality home maintenance and repair projects.
Uphold TruBlue’s high standard of professionalism, reliability, and customer care on every job.
Communicate clearly with customers and help manage expectations on-site.
Ensure safety, accuracy, and consistency across every project.
