Job summary

Qualifications

• Possesses a degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Licensed to practice as a physical therapist by the Physical Therapy Board of California.
• Two years of experience as a physical therapist, preferably in community/home health.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services according to a written physician’s plan of care.
• Evaluate patient status and develop a total plan of care.
• Supervise physical therapy assistants as per policy and regulations.

Skills

Assessing and evaluating therapeutic status

Training in the use of prosthetic devices

Education

Degree from a baccalaureate or master’s program in physical therapy
