Job summary

Redwood Coast PACE in Eureka, CA is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to lead and support the Home Care team, supervising CarePartners, coordinating care, and ensuring quality participant services. The role moves from bed-side care into management while maintaining clinical nursing responsibilities.

Candidates must have BVNPT licensure, a high school diploma, at least one year in elder care and supervisory experience; CPR/First Aid; valid CA driver's license and reliable vehicle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent and completion of BVNPT-approved vocational nursing program.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience working with a frail or elderly population.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in a supervisory role. Additional supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Home Care team in advocacy, education, coordination, documentation, and participant care.
• Directly supervise the in-home CarePartner team and act as Licensed Vocational Nurse within Home Care.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate employees and develop in-service training programs.
• Ensure safety and compliance with agency policies, coordinate care and scheduling, and document nursing care and incidents.
