Job summary

Applied Intuition is hiring a product designer focused on human-machine interfaces for future vehicles. The role owns design direction for a strategically important HMI project, moving from early concepts to production-quality interface work.

You will work closely with product and engineering teams to turn technical constraints into usable designs, owning end-to-end visual and interaction systems for vehicle and autonomy experiences.

Qualifications

• Product, UX, interaction, or HMI design experience for complex digital products.
• Strong visual craft and prototyping ability.
• Comfort working with technical teams on ambiguous product problems.
• Ability to own design decisions while collaborating in a fast-moving office environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead HMI design from concept explorations through production-ready product surfaces
• Create flows, prototypes, and interface systems for vehicle and autonomy experiences
• Partner with product and engineering teams to turn technical constraints into usable designs
• Build design direction for a new Applied Intuition project with strategic weight
• Validate and refine interfaces for complex real-world vehicle contexts
