Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking an experienced Restaurant Assistant General Manager for a high-volume, upscale casual seafood restaurant in Corpus Christi, TX. This hands-on leader will be on the floor, developing teams and delivering an exceptional guest experience.

The ideal candidate brings a confident, energetic leadership style, proven restaurant operations experience, and the ability to balance hospitality with strong operational execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of current salaried restaurant management experience.
• Experience in high-volume upscale casual, polished casual, or full-service restaurant environments.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant financials, including labor, food costs, inventory, and operational controls.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations with a visible, hands-on presence on the floor.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members while creating a positive and accountable culture.
• Maintain high standards for hospitality, food quality, service, cleanliness, and guest experience.
• Support scheduling, labor management, inventory, cost controls, and overall operational performance.
• Partner with restaurant leadership to identify opportunities and continuously improve execution.
• Effectively resolve guest concerns while building strong relationships with guests and team members.
