Job summary

Responsibilities include supervising scheduling, performing maintenance, repair, overhaul, and installation of overhead and underground electrical distribution lines, and interpreting plans and blueprints to deliver safe, compliant electrical work while using precise test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervisor in developing weekly and daily work schedules; provide input to performance appraisals.
• Maintain, repair, modify, overhaul, replace and install overhead and underground electrical distribution lines.
• Design, plan, and complete work from layout to final assembly using plans, specs, blueprints.
• Install, modify, connect, inspect, and repair distribution lines; follow safety rules and maintain a safe environment.
• Use and maintain hand tools, power tools and test equipment including oscillators, megger, phase sticks, meters.
