Job summary

PHI Health in Manassas, VA seeks a Captain EC135 SPIFR/NVG with instrument rating to oversee helicopter air ambulance operations. The role includes 24-hour coverage, leadership of EMS base pilots, and adherence to CAMTS guidelines.

Relocation may be available, and a sign-on bonus up to $50,000 is offered. Ideal candidates have 2,000 total flight hours, with 1,500+ helicopter hours and 1,000+ PIC helicopter hours, plus NVG expertise.

Qualifications

• Commercial and Instrument Helicopter Ratings are required.
• First Class Medical is required.
• CAMTS familiarity is preferred.
• Strong leadership and safety orientation are essential.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead EMS base pilots and ensure staffing per GOM and FAA rules.
• Coordinate with Base Supervisor and Area Manager on scheduling and operations.
• Monitor safety, training, and compliance across the base team.
• Ensure timely paperwork, reporting, and base financials.
• Cover open shifts and manage monthly schedules as needed.
