Job summary

PHI Health in Manassas, VA seeks experienced helicopter pilots for 24-hour HAA operations. The role requires instrument rating, CAMTS familiarity, and a strong safety mindset. You will lead a team of pilots, manage base operations, and ensure compliance with FAA regulations across day and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Commercial and Instrument Helicopter Ratings required.
• First Class Medical CAMTS requirement.
• 2,000 total hours; 1,500 helicopter hours; 1,000 PIC helicopter hours.
• 100 hours unaided night operations or 50 unaided + 100 NVG hours.
• Ability to lift 100 pounds for patient/equipment handling.

Responsibilities

• Lead pilot duties under supervision of base leadership and ensure staffing meets FAA GOM and regulations.
• Oversee scheduling, safety training, and OCC health compliance for pilots.
• Manage monthly schedules, shifts, and coverage; ensure timely communications and reporting.
• Support safety programs and community outreach; participate in safety meetings.
