Job summary

PJ Helicopters is seeking A&P Base/Field Mechanics to perform base maintenance duties, inspections, repairs and alterations on our helicopter fleet. You will work both at the base and in the field, supporting fuel and drive trucks as needed.

Candidates must hold FAA A&P licenses and have knowledge of FARs 91, 133, 135, and 145; a CDL with HazMat is required or must be obtained soon after hire. Flexible shifts, pre-employment drug screening, and travel may be necessary.

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant licenses required.
• Knowledge of FARs 91, 133, 135, and 145.
• Experience with heavy maintenance or specific helicopter models preferred.
• Commercial Driver’s License with HazMat/Tank endorsements required.
• If not HazMat or CDL, must be willing to obtain after hire.
• Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and be on-call; some travel.
