Job summary

P.J. Keating Company is seeking a skilled Project Superintendent to lead heavy highway construction projects in Lunenburg, MA. You will plan, schedule, direct, and coordinate activities to ensure timely completion within budget while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to manage subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams. Experience with MassDOT projects is preferred and night shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Supervise heavy highway construction crews and subcontractors.
• Develop and communicate project schedules to stakeholders.
• Maintain quality control per standards and contract requirements.
• Manage project P&L and daily cost reporting.
• Read plans/blueprints and basic survey knowledge (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and direct project activities to meet time and budget goals.
• Ensure safety compliance for crews, subcontractors, and the public.
• Track daily progress and document work and payments.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and customers on status and changes.
