Job Summary

We are seeking a Seasoned Heavy Equipment Operator with 5 years + experience to join our team! As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be operating heavy equipment regularly, following guidance to ensure the job is properly completed, and adhering to all necessary safety standards to avoid pipes, wires, and lines. You will also perform daily, routine maintenance of the equipment you use, report any issues or defects for quick fixes, and maintain a clean work environment. The ideal candidate has previous Heavy Equipment Operation experience with 5 years of construction experience, can work well within a team environment, and is comfortable working on multiple different job sites and projects.

Responsibilities

1. Operate a variety of heavy machinery, following job supervisor specifications.
2. Maintain all equipment used, including cleaning, oiling, and greasing, to keep everything running well.
3. Work closely with all employees on the job site and help as needed to keep the project running on schedule.
4. Maintain records of maintenance on equipment and report any issues immediately.
5. Must be able to read blueprints and shoot elevations using grade rods and lasers.
6. Follow all state, federal, and company safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
