Job summary

Insight Global is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator for a large-scale roadway and civil construction project at Anniston Army Depot, Alabama. The role is strictly on-site, operating bulldozers, graders, excavators, loaders, and articulated dump trucks to support earthwork, grading, and site development tasks.

Candidates should have extensive experience on heavy civil projects, be able to transition between equipment, pass a drug screen and background check, and hold OSHA 10/30 certification.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience operating heavy equipment on civil roadway or site development projects.
• Experience operating multiple pieces of equipment such as dozers, graders, excavators, loaders, and ADTs.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Experience with GPS machine control systems (Trimble/Topcon/Leica or similar).
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate bulldozers, graders, excavators, loaders, and articulated dump trucks
• Perform earthmoving, grading, site preparation, and roadway construction
• Move and stockpile soil, aggregate, gravel, rock, and other materials
• Support rough and finish grading for roadways and site development
• Assist with trenching, utility installation support, and backfilling
• Maintain safety and comply with OSHA/USACE standards
