Job summary

Ledcor seeks a Superintendent for its Heavy Civil team in a site-based Idaho project. You will provide frontline leadership for earthworks, coordinate daily work plans, and ensure safe, efficient execution while aligning with drawings, schedules, and cost objectives.

You will build strong relationships with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and field staff, troubleshoot on-site issues, and maintain a productive, engaged crew across shifts with a focus on quality and collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of supervisory experience in heavy civil construction.
• Experience managing earthworks and project schedules.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Collaborative leadership and stakeholder alignment.
• Willingness to travel and stay on-site for duration of projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all earthworks and civil construction activities.
• Ensure work complies with plans, specs, and standards.
• Enforce site safety protocols meeting requirements.
• Monitor and adjust construction schedules to milestones.
• Review invoices for accuracy and report discrepancies.
• Hire and manage hourly field staff with Project Manager.
• Process field change orders with client reps as needed.
• Lead planning meetings for equipment readiness and continuity.
