Qualifications

• Ten years as Construction Superintendent on heavy civil projects.
• Two heavy civil design-build projects in last 15 years with $10M+ value each.
• EM 385-1-1 24-Hour Construction Safety Training completed within last five years.
• Ability to interpret critical path schedules and construction plans.
• On-site supervision with schedule compliance throughout construction.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall field leadership and supervision for heavy civil construction projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, equipment, and labor resources.
• Ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence per contract requirements.
• Interpret and execute construction plans, specs, and documents.
• Monitor critical path schedules and progress.
• Conduct daily site inspections and maintain quality control.
• Lead safety meetings and enforce safety requirements.
• Coordinate with PMs, owners, engineers, inspectors, and subs.
• Maintain project documentation and field records.
• Resolve field issues to minimize schedule/budget impacts.
