Job summary

Woodland Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning is looking for a skilled lead HVAC technician to install, maintain, and repair heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems in the Woodland Park area. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and ensure compliance with safety codes while coordinating with management and the installation team.

Requirements include proven HVAC experience, valid Colorado driver’s license, and EPA Type II certification preferred.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated lead HVAC technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, including installation and maintenance of heating equipment, air conditioning units and refrigeration systems. This role requires an expert to handle a variety of HVAC equipment servicing.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including forced-air furnaces, boilers and air conditioning units.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems, providing effective solutions.
• Collaborate with with the service manager and new construction install team when needed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes during installation processes.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Photograph work completed and upload to our CRM.

Experience

• Proven experience in HVAC maintenance, repair & installation.
• Handling exhaust fans and ductwork modification as needed.
• Familiarity with HVAC/R systems and components is essential.
• Ability to operate a van for transportation to job sites as needed.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• A valid driver's license issued in Colorado is required for this position.

We are a family business serving Woodland Park and the Teller County area. Jobs will typically be in an area around 45 minutes from Woodland Park in any direction. In addition to Paid Time Off and 401K plan, we also offer monthly profit sharing on completed projects.
