Job summary

AbsoluteCare is seeking a Lead Solutions Engineer to design, build, and govern healthcare data pipelines and Agentic AI workflows across Azure data services. You will partner with clinical operations, analytics, and technology teams to translate complex clinical needs into secure, auditable data and AI solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 5+ years of healthcare data experience in provider, value-based care, or population health contexts.
• 5+ years in data engineering, analytics engineering, or healthcare data platforms.
• 5+ years of SQL development with relational databases and data quality controls.
• 5+ years of Python for data engineering, automation, or AI workflow development.
• Experience with Azure data services and cloud patterns.
• Hands-on experience with AI-enabled solutions using Azure OpenAI, Generative AI, Agentic AI, RAG, LLM orchestration, governance.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust healthcare data pipelines using Python, SQL, and Azure data services.
• Design Agentic AI workflows with human-in-the-loop review, source traceability, audit logging, and RBAC.
• Collaborate with clinical stakeholders to ensure AI workflows support clinical operations without replacing judgment.
• Build reusable data and AI components for clinical summaries, care gaps, risk stratification, and care management.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes that integrate payer, clinical, EHR, and operational data.
• Support Azure-based data engineering patterns (Azure SQL, Data Factory, Data Lake, Functions, Synapse).
• Implement validation and monitoring controls for AI outputs to reduce risk.
• Ensure AI workflows follow privacy, PHI handling, and data governance requirements.
• Collaborate to identify healthcare opportunities where AI can improve throughput and outcomes.
• Document design, data lineage, mappings, validation rules, and implementation strategy.
• Participate in roadmap planning for data warehouse, Azure modernization, and healthcare AI enablement.
• Translate requirements into scalable IT solutions and relate datasets to actionable insights.
• Lead technical design for data engineering and Agentic AI initiatives from requirements to production.
• Define reusable patterns, standards, and best practices for healthcare data pipelines and AI orchestration.
• Develop monitoring and observability for production AI and Agentic AI solutions.
• Review designs and approaches for scalability, maintainability, and compliance.
• Maintain security and privacy of information owned by AbsoluteCare and its patients, employees, and partners.
