Qualifications

Must be a registered nurse with an unencumbered license.
Must be licensed to practice in North Carolina.
Must have at least two (2) years (2000 hours) of experience as a registered nurse in the United States.
Must meet at least one of the following: Completion of a course in teaching adults, Experience in teaching adults, or Experience in supervising nurse aides.

Responsibilities

Direct instruction in health occupations programs.
Preparation and evaluation of instruction; clinical preparation.
Supply assessment and ordering; accessibility to students.
Committee assignments; addressing student concerns.
Advising and service to the college and community.
Instruction in Health Occupations programs (NAI, NAII, Phlebotomy, Pharmacy Technician).
Willingness to become certified in Phlebotomy within 18 months of hire.
Willingness to become certified as Pharmacy Technician within 12 months of hire.
