Qualifications

• Education: Transcript submission showing an associate's degree with HIT/HIM focus or related 12 credit hours in HIT/HIM.
• Experience/education combination acceptable; grandfathering provision applies for current VHA MRT HIT employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate MRT HIT team activities, balancing workload and ensuring timely completion.
• Act as subject matter expert for pathology-related health records and liaise with other departments.
• Provide staff development guidance and training, and generate reports for management.
