The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs VACCHCS Health Information Management (HIM) section seeks Medical Records Technicians (MRT) Health Information Technicians who review, analyze, abstract, compile, maintain, and extract data from health records.

They ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with regulations and accrediting bodies. At GS-4 to GS-7 levels, MRT HIT work under supervision, receive guidance for more complex reviews, and progressively take on independent health record tasks,
